PMFBY Project: Empowering Trainees Through Real-World Experience

APRUTI WELFARE FOUNDATION is committed to providing practical, hands-on experience through the PMFBY Project, focusing on insured farmer document verification, survey work, and campaigning. Our foundation leverages its extensive expertise in the crop insurance industry to offer training and livelihood opportunities to our trainees, integrating them into essential project work that supports their communities.

With over 10 years of experience in ground-level monitoring, APRUTI WELFARE FOUNDATION employs National and State level Managers and Coordinators who guide and supervise the project. For more than seven years, we have been actively involved in the Crop Insurance Industry, with a dedicated team of over 1,000 field personnel available across India. Our organization has successfully implemented and innovated technologies to enhance our services.

Our comprehensive approach includes insured farmer document verification, conducting ILA surveys, performing quality checks, monitoring crop health, and managing MIS data. By involving our trainees in these critical tasks, we not only provide them with a source of income but also equip them with valuable skills in data entry and management, supporting their journey towards sustainable livelihoods.

Objective:

  1. Practical Training: Provide trainees with hands-on experience in tasks such as document verification, data entry, and survey work related to the PMFBY, enhancing their computer and administrative skills.

  2. Livelihood Support: Enable trainees to earn a livelihood while learning, helping them support themselves and their families financially.

  3. Skill Development: Equip trainees with market-relevant skills that increase their employability in sectors such as data entry, quality checking, and campaign management.

Approach:

  1. Real-World Assignments:Assign trainees to work on PMFBY-related tasks, providing them with actual job experience that simulates real employment scenarios.

  2. Supervised Learning: Ensure that trainees receive guidance and support from experienced supervisors, enabling them to learn and grow effectively.

  3. Integrated Training Modules: Combine classroom learning with practical assignments, allowing trainees to apply what they learn in real-world situations.

Program Components:

  1. Document Verification and Data Entry: Trainees will be involved in verifying and entering data for insured farmers under the PMFBY, learning accuracy and attention to detail.

  2. Survey Work: Trainees will conduct surveys and gather data, providing them with experience in data collection and analysis.

  3. Campaigning and Awareness Activities: Involvement in campaign activities to raise awareness about PMFBY, equipping trainees with communication and organizational skills.
